Advertisment

From the very first weeks of blogging I started to use Tiger Admin plug-in for RotorBlog.com because it has much better design and was much comfortable in use than the standard WordPress administration panel. Now I found that there is available new version of the Tiger Administration plug-in V3.0 made by Steve Smith and, of course, I immediately wanted to check it out!

Few people have been asking me why I use plugin for my administration panel? Thy told me that it slows down the loading process and some king of that stuff. Actually there is no long explanation – standard WordPress administration panel is so disgusting that it can rally make people quit blogging. It is joke of course, but I think this is the spot where WordPress developers need to attach their attention. How I was reporting previously there are project on development called Shuttle, which will make the admin panel of WordPress look much better.

My first impression of the new version of Tiger Admin is that it looks more solid and the joy of using Tiger Admin is even more. At the plugin page I found information that they have received the loading speed increase reports also, which of course is very good, but I have more worries about my hosting response time lately. I’m very glad that Tiger admin hasn’t changed the navigation things because I think navigation was very comfortable already and I was very used to it. In the end I want to give thanks to Steve Smith and hope that he will continue developing Tiger Administration plugin. Thanks!

Need Help!

Lately I’m wondering about changing hosting solution for RotorBlog.com. I currently use DreamHost and I’m wondering to switch to MediaTemple Grid-Server. Therefore I wanted to ask do anyone use this hosting solution or maybe know something better?
