Virb hates MySpace

Today have launched Virb, that, by many bloggers, will take a big part of MySpace users and possibly even kill MySpace. I have seen ether project before from Virb team and I was sure that design and functionality will be the biggest advantage of upcoming social network.

Actually Virb comes in the market without any new and revolutionary innovation but, the buzz that they created before launching, gives them a big boost now. There was a lot of reviews and prediction about this social network and bloggers really loves Virb, but the only thing that I don’t understand - why? Maybe he possible explanation is because everybody hates MySpace?

How I wrote before - design and functionality of is the main advantage of Virb. The quality of platform and offered/integrated tools is really cool and gives this network ability to magnetize users that are running from low quality flashing MySpace pages. Although they haven’t put much on innovation they have put hard work to integrate interesting tools in this social platform and on of the most interesting is VirbTunes - plugin for iTunes to track your playlist and sent it to Virb.com. It is unnecessary to say that Virb support all the video/music/photo features that comes by default for social networks all the list you can find here.

Virb, even if it haven’t bring nothing unique, is really ‘worth to try’ social network with beautiful look and a bunch of features. And I would not predict if it will kill MySpace, Friendster, Bebo or not, but it seams that the clip of Virb gun isn’t empty and they are holding some bullets for later.
