Moneybookers - PayPal Alternative
Advertisements
Since PayPal isn’t developing their online payment services and the list of countries ‘Send Money Online’ doesn’t get smaller you need to search for alternative services to PayPal. I have seen many people complaining about PayPal, because they are supporting merchants only in big countries and people from smaller countries can’t use the full PayPal service package. I think the weak point of PayPal is Europa and here already are other strong players that can game with PayPal.

One of the best PayPal alternatives, that you can use to make online payments, is Moneybookers - similar online payment service to PayPal, but with better functionality for several countries where PayPal isn’t offering their full services. Moneybookers have very strong positions in Europa, and not only because they fill PayPal’s ‘empty spot’, but because they are offering really good service and they online payment platform is very easy to use by online merchants from Europa and also for individuals who need good PayPal alternative.
Can You Trust Moneybookers?
Moneybookers payment system I use for about one year and can tell that there was no problems with the service and the system looks secure. I also know many people who use this service for several years now and they isn’t complaining, so I think this is service you can trust. But if you know some problems using the service you are welcome to post a comment for others to know.
p.s. Moneybookers in the March had a facelift and now they look better also.

May 2nd, 2007 at 11:55 amI have actually found the best alternative to pay pal.
Basically I had 3 problems with pay pal
1) When I first used pay pal they blocked my account for pointless reasons.
2) I Their verification check take an age
3) I since moved to a country where I can’t with withdraw.
If have found the only true alternative:
You can accept credit cards up to $1000 per transaction
You can accept bank payment and direct debits with no limits
There are no limits on your account
Verification to accept credit cards only takes 2 days. You don’t need to verify your bank details
You can withdraw to any country in the world, I mean any.
You can also accept micro payment by mobile phone.
The withdrawal system works just like pay pal, withdraw any amount any time.
They have a shopping cart.
I didn’t believe it at first but I have now been using it for 6 months and it’s been faultless.
They charge 2.3% for processing and they do hold a reserve of between 4-6% but only for 30 days.
It’s as easy to use and integrate as pay pal.
So if you have ever been messed about by paypal or are looking for whole grail of processing companies here it is:
http://www.paypay.com?frm=1002647401
PAYPAY inc
They have been around since 2000, they are NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
You can thank me later lol

System works very simple - to make payment you need only e-mail address and that’s it. Actually it is very similar to paypal.
If you have some specific questions don’t hesitate to contact me using ‘Contact’ page of this blog.

July 15th, 2007 at 12:04 amI have had some trouble with moneybookers. I entered a credit card number and the next day somebody used that number to buy like a hundred dollars worth of gas in Canada. Luckily my credit card protects me from fraud.

July 24th, 2007 at 7:12 amThere is another great paypal alternative on the market called daopay.com
They offer payment services via phone - either landline or cell, nevermind - are easy to use, no registration needed, it is fast and you stay anonymous.
That’s how I like shopping in the Net!!

May 15th, 2008 at 10:35 amMy experience with PayPay: TERRIBLE. Rude, hard to communicate with, judgemental, censoring — the last two are guesses actually, they wouldn’t say why they didn’t approve credit cards for my blog. And then they deleted me from their system totally, with no explanation. The blog was a discussion blog of social issues - no hate, no suggestions for violence, nothing of a sexual nature. They just didn’t approve it. Maybe they’re fine for sales but for donations, be aware.

June 9th, 2008 at 6:17 amThe fastest growing virtual visa card provider on the internet. I heard they introduces an ATM debit card that can be funded via e-gold, liberty reserve, Western union, moneybookers etc.
Their vcc works perfectly well and their support is the best.
I think in away, you can cash out your e-gold and any other e-currency by using their ATM debit card. They load the fund therein and you can cash out from your local ATM machine.

July 3rd, 2008 at 9:04 pmI want to purchase something and the seller uses MoneyBrokers.com. I have never utilized this service nor do I know anything about it. Could I get some feedback from anyone who knows this service. He says we would send our money to MoneyBroker.com and the he will ship the item. We will have a 14 day inspection period before the money is released to him, or we can cancel the transaction.

July 16th, 2008 at 11:37 pmMoneybookers completely ripped me off. The scam began as them acting as agents collecting money in escrow for a person whose BMW z-3 I had agreed to buy. When the vehicle was paid in full they asked me for another $2,340.00 dollars for the shipping and taxes, because the seller, who both they, and the seller had assured me previously was taken care of. When I refused, they discontinued making contact with me. Their website was very realistic, even had a good reference in wikipedia. Customer service up to this point had been very quick to respond. Once they have your money, and you refuse to pay shipping and taxes, they turn into ghosts, and will not refund your money, which was guaranteed “SAFE”.
Bob Says:
July 23rd, 2008 at 11:14 amRoy,
Did you receive the car? What is the status of your transaction. I’m also considering purchasing a vehicle and the seller wishes to use Moneybookers.
Ben Says:
July 23rd, 2008 at 11:30 ami. Moneybookers has no relation to any third party money transfer services such as Western Union
ii. Moneybookers will never act as an agent or an intermediary for any service that they might offer
So if these people are asking you to transfer any funds to them via other Money transfer companies, please do not respond. If you are in any doubt give their customer service a call and they will check it out for you. The same thing happened to me, and I wanted to check it out. They were very helpful and professional.
These scammers use their name but they have no involvement at all.
