MONEYBOOOKERS has blocked my account as without the reason, I cannot deduce the 500 $. They have asked my documents of identification, I have given them. Support persistently is silent... In what term will unblock my account? Can somebody tell to me?

MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS

We have been selling ink cartridges and a few other computer related items for 3 years now in Spain. As PayPal comes up in Spanish our UK customers (90% of our business) aren't very pleased with that so we opened an account with MoneyBookers to get a secuire payment page in English instead of Spanish. They closed the account the next day.

Why? They referred to conditions 11 or so. (Weapons and illegal stuff)

We explained that ink cartridges aren't quite illegal but they didn't want to listen.

Can you please tell me WHY?

'Sorry sir, this is a business decision'.

Is it because we are to small?

'Sorry sir, this is a business decision'.

Mam, with due respect, one of your collegues just opened an account for us and another one closed it the day after. May I ask why please?

'Sorry sir, this is a business decision'.

Will you please listen? We think somebody has made a mistake, we do NOT sell drugs or weapons or anything like that. We sell ink cartridges, you know those things you put in your printer to print?

'Sorry sir, this is a business decision'.

Is it because we are not big enough then?

'Sorry sir, this is a business decision'.

MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS
MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS
MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS
MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS
MONEYBOOKERS SUCKS

I have had so many problems with paypal as a buyer and seller. I won an auction on ebay for someone in the OK to build me a website. The person never completed the site so I asked paypal to refund my money. They investigated the matter and made a judgement in my favor. They refunded my money. Then the seller appealed and they reversed their decision and said that I would have to return the money even though the seller never designed the website for me. Then a year prior, my husband owed Paypal money and they limited my account. Mind you, my husband and I have two separate account under different names, banks etc. We even have different last names. I sell online and have always been fair to my buyers and never owed anyone money. I balance my books well. But paypal held me accountable for my husband's mess and I had to pay my husband's debt from my account. For this reason and many others, I am done with paypal. I would rather find an alternative and try getting a real merchant account. Paypal is just too risky when I need something dependable and won't mess with my money because of the careless actions of others.

Moneybookers are over-protective and continually seek proof of identity if you trade outside the UK. They closed my account unilaterally because I complained about having to send a photocopy of my passport details 2 times in 4 months because they thought I might be money laundering my monthly $75 payments from a customer in Argentina!

I couldn't transfer my cash to my bank account and had to ask a friend to join so I could transfer my balance to him. Leave it alone - its worse than PayPal! It stinks and their ativities border on the illegal.

Do not use Moneybookers! Their customer sevice is practically non-existent. They never reply to emails. If you ring them, you won't understand what the reps are saying due to very poor English. I sent €140 from my Moneybookers account to my sons Moneybookers account. He got locked out after forgetting his password and he can't get a new one off them. They say in their FAQ that money that remains unclaimed for more than 14 days is returned to the sender. Well this was Aug 2008 and its now Jan 09. I'm still waiting. They pretend they don't know what I'm talking about when I ring them up. STEER CLEAR OF MONEYBOOKERS BECAUSE THEY WILL EVENTUALLY LOCK YOUR ACCOUNT AND KEEP YOUR MONEY! Google them and you'll see how many they've done it to.

I will be using Moneybookers as much as possible. Paypal simply can't deal with problems in a reasonable way. Because I entered into a sale with someone who got into trouble for an unrelated transaction, I had $400 and my Paypal account frozen at a critical time. And now I see people have had far worse problems than me. Stories of Paypal malfeasance are legion. Paypal claims to protect you from other parties, but no one protects you from Paypal, and their basic method of resolution is to make everyone sweat while they hold the money. They don't have the staff to do anything better or respond in any individualized way, despite raking off the standard credit card cut.

i.	Moneybookers has no relation to any third party money transfer services such as Western Union
ii.	Moneybookers will never act as an agent or an intermediary for any service that they might offer

So if these people are asking you to transfer any funds to them via other Money transfer companies, please do not respond. If you are in any doubt give their customer service a call and they will check it out for you. The same thing happened to me, and I wanted to check it out. They were very helpful and professional.

These scammers use their name but they have no involvement at all.

Moneybookers completely ripped me off. The scam began as them acting as agents collecting money in escrow for a person whose BMW z-3 I had agreed to buy. When the vehicle was paid in full they asked me for another $2,340.00 dollars for the shipping and taxes, because the seller, who both they, and the seller had assured me previously was taken care of. When I refused, they discontinued making contact with me. Their website was very realistic, even had a good reference in wikipedia. Customer service up to this point had been very quick to respond. Once they have your money, and you refuse to pay shipping and taxes, they turn into ghosts, and will not refund your money, which was guaranteed "SAFE".

I want to purchase something and the seller uses MoneyBrokers.com. I have never utilized this service nor do I know anything about it. Could I get some feedback from anyone who knows this service. He says we would send our money to MoneyBroker.com and the he will ship the item. We will have a 14 day inspection period before the money is released to him, or we can cancel the transaction.
