That’s why the Cribfinder application for Facebook is such a useful tool. Whether you’re a buyer, seller, renter, or completely content in your current home, Cribfinder lets you share information about your residence. Not only does it act as another promotional vehicle to spread the word about your property, but it allows people to contact you, even if you’re not attempting to sell.There could be someone out there who has had their eye on your specific house or apartment. But if it’s not listed, there’s little chance that they will approach you with an offer. Cribfinder allows you to passively promote your house if you’re likely to stay, but allows you to casually entertain offers.

After adding basic information, the system will generate a property profile on your crib. Among the included information is address, map, price, description and one-year valuation.

Since it’s a Facebook app, your friends will not only be able to view the listing, but they will be able to write something on a virtual “wall.” This is a great way to casually communicate information about the place. (Of course, make sure your friends don’t go on and on about that crazy neighbor of that annoying pest problem!).

For sale-by-owner Website Fizber has partnered with Cribfinder. They currently have 5,000 listing on the app, and expect this number to rise to over 50,000 in the near future. This is the same Website behind Drive Score which we told you about a few weeks ago.

Selling a home without a real estate professional seems to get easier by the day. In fact, you have to wonder if REALTORS will one day hit the demand of brick and mortar travel agents. Sure there will always be a need, but the overall demand must be on the decline.

On Cribfinder you can browse all listed houses, hottest houses or check out your friend’s humble abodes. Honestly, I’m always curious about where and how my online acquaintances are living.
