Poodz - Rich Media Microblogging Platform
Advertisements
I will not try to find better words how to describe Poodz because Sid Yadav from Rev2 already did it - Twitter for the Other Media. I think for most of you the general idea is clear now. Let’s take very easy-to-use platform, give rich media support to it and we have very cool and interactive platform for people to communicate.
According to Lionel Guichard, which is founder of Poodz, this project was launched as a private beta in November 2007 in France and now, after making some changes into functionality and usability, they want to go for international users.
With Poodz you are able to use different ways how to communicate with your friends - post text, pictures or go and create some more interactive video and audio posts. With all that multimedia stuff it is real fun to use it and if you are Twitter or Pownce user already you may consider switching to Poodz. Why? Because you get more for the same price!

March 14th, 2008 at 4:18 amHey Maris — thanks for the link to the post from Rev2. Just wanted to drop a quick line to indicate the typo in my last name (”Sid Yadav” and not “Sid Yada”.)
In any case, Poodz is indeed an extremely cool service — if it was english and it’s name was “Twitter,” I think it’d be an instant hit. :-)

Sorry for mistake!
