Receive MySpace updates through mBlox mobile text alert service

MySpace and mBlox has teamed up to bring MySpace experience to members’ mobile phones. Through a text alert service, MySpace users can now receive updates about their MySpace accounts right in their mobile phones.The text alert service was made possible through MySpace and mBlox partnership with major mobile network providers. MySpace users who have mobile phones running on Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Alltel Wireless, U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile USA can avail of this text alert service.

To register for this alerting service, log in to your MySpace account >> click on “text alerts” link displayed on your MySpace Home Page (located on the lower right hand side of the page) > >click on enable alert >> enter the needed information to enable your mobile phones.

Currently the MySpace text alert service works in U.S., UK, Germany, Australia, Italy and Spain. You will also be given the option to choose which mobile notifications you would like to receive on your mobile phones. The service currently sends out alerts when your MySpace account receives:

Message,
Friend request,
Profile comment,
Event invite,
Image comment,
Blog comment,

After setting these parameters, you will then receive an activation code via a text message sent to your mobile phone.
