Track Packages Via Twitter

There’s nothing more exciting than getting a package.  I vividly remember being a little kid, perched in the window, hoping that the UPS man was coming to our house.

Even as a grown up, a surprise FedEx at work can be a thrill.  There’s just something magical about the unexpected.  Heck, even anticipating a package is exciting.  Remember the last time you ordered something from Amazon and constantly refreshed the shipping info?

Thankfully, there’s an easier way to track packages - meet @trackthis via Twitter.

All you have to do is send a message to @trackthis with your trackingnumber (and a nickname so you can identify it) and you will get a shipping status update as your carrier posts it.  Goodbye F5!

You can set your account up to get updates on the Web, through e-mail, IM or SMS.  Currently, FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL codes can be tracked.

Just make sure you set your account to ‘follow’ @trackthis.
