Twitter has had some nice and not so nice share of publicities lately. The downtime continous although it has become minimal the past few days. On the good news side, Twitter has once again proven that it has been a pretty useful online communication tool, especially when chips are down during the South California earthquake. And so, here we go again, giving you new apps for all your Twittering needs. We love Twitter, should we need to say that. Enjoy these new apps.
Phweet -lets you accept calls with one click from your Twitter page or Twitter clients. You don’t need to downlaod or share anything to talk to your Twitter friends. Using a PhweetUrl, you can talk to your friends through a smartlink that calls you. 3 easy steps to use Phweet -> sign in using your Twitter ID -> invite your Twitter friends -> Wait for them to accept your invite/Phweet whistles -> start talking.
TwitHire - is a simple Job Board utilizing the Twitter platform. Job ads are posted by Tweeting. Jobs are categorized into three - programming jobs, design jobs and other jobs. To post a job ad, you need to generate a Tweetkey and your Twitter ID.
Blummi - is a social networking site that makes use of the Twitter service to promote community sharing of your local finds, reviews and other information.

Tweetparty - lets you organize your twitter friends into parties and send direct messages to them; when you login all your Twitter followings are downloaded to Tweetparty and then create as many groups as you want to categorize them and start sending Twitter messages to each groups which will be received by all the friends you categorized into that group.

Twitabit - is another alternative site to post your Tweets when the Twitter public timeline is down.
