On the good news side, Twitter has once again proven that it has been a pretty useful online communication tool, especially when chips are down during the South California earthquake. Phweet -lets you accept calls with one click from your Twitter page or Twitter clients. You don’t need to downlaod or share anything to talk to your Twitter friends. TwitHire - is a simple Job Board utilizing the Twitter platform. Job ads are posted by Tweeting. Jobs are categorized into three - programming jobs, design jobs and other jobs. To post a job ad, you need to generate a Tweetkey and your Twitter ID.

Blummi - is a social networking site that makes use of the Twitter service to promote community sharing of your local finds, reviews and other information.
