According to Lifeblob, their mission is to help people connect their lives with the world around them. And with such noble mission, Lifeblog offers us with an online personal diary with social angle through its timeline feature. Think of its as Livejournal + Twitter = Lifeblob
Lifeblob mimics what you normally do in a real-life personal diary, that is document the events that happened in your daily life and stick pictures that would help remember it visualy. Of course, we don’t have to say that you do those things in an online environment with Lifeblob.
For the social part of Lifeblob, it allows you to include a list of people who are related to a post that you are documenting. If that person happens to be a member of Lifeblob, what you post in your timeline will also be displayed in that member’s timeline. Pretty simple, right? Lifeblob calls this as the “bridge” that would connect you to other people in the network. The beauty of it is that once you get a couple of friends to use Lifeblob, and you get linked in their timeline, you are in turn creating a social networking environment among your friends through Lifeblob’s timeline.Lifeblob envisions itself to be a huge global mesh of people’s timelines which are interconnected with each other. For some, this might sound creepy and poses a threat to personal privacy. But for some social networking fanatics, like us this is not a problem at all. It’s actually a cool thing to discover new information through this interconnected web of timelines.
