writerspubI’ve a tech writing for more than two years now. Although I’ve personally seen minor improvements in my writing, I still don’t see myself as a prolific writer. Hence, when I encountered the new Writer’s Pub I knew immediately I should not join this site. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great community site for aspiring and seasoned writers alike, but the idea of having others critique on my work just won’t work for me. Anyway, you’re probably not like me so you should definitely check out Writers Pub. It’s a great site designed for writers of all types. Whether you are a novelists, screenwriter, short story writer or technical writer, Writers Pub offers you a good place to be with your fellow writers.

Writers Pub aims to be a vibrant community for writers to engage with other writers. If you don’t mind others critiquing your work openly, Writers Pub will definitely work best for you. This is the reason why I don’t want to join the site. I’m afraid I might get all tons of critiques if I post my work on the site. I’m afraid they might break my heart. :-)

Aside from letting you posts your articles for others to critique on it, Writers Pub also features:

  • A Writers Forum where you can view announcements; hang out at “The Lounge” and discuss anything you want; learn how to find agents and write synopses; share the craft of writing with others
  • View who are online
  • Browse by Author or by genre

It’s a promising social site and hopefully the site owners who put in more enhancements and new features that would be useful to its member writers. And the site design can still be improved.
