MySpace have had its share of bad experiences with teen members getting entraped by malicious adult members or even by fellow teen-age members. Hence, we couldn’t blame parents for trying to control their kids participation in social networking sites. But, we couldn’t blame also our teen-age member of the web 2.0 world if they won’t just stop using social networking sites. Solution - how about a social networking site built by teens for their fellow teens, like KiwiBox? Sounds safe enough right? We haven’t really featured too many sports-related social networking site here at Rotorblog. But while scouring the web for a new social networking site to feature, I stumbled upon Footbo, a social networking site for football lovers. At first, I had second thoughts on whether to feature Footbo, but I couldn’t help it. The site has a very elegant and simple design with the green accent on its predominantly white theme. Disclosure: Ok, I admit I was a frustrated football player during my younger years, and I spent countless hours playing the Fifa series during my Playstation playing days not so long ago.
If the 3D-ish avatar or personal icon of Second Life turns you off for being to juvenile, your best bet for creating your own interactive profile might be mEgo’s interactive portable profile which you can use in your various social networking profiles. But why would you create an interactive profile anyways? We couldn’t really think of a better reason than to make your social networking activities more fun.
Finally, after teasing its loyal users with a new design and interface, social bookmarking site previously known as Del.icio.us, has made its
AOL has quietly launched a new lifestreaming service called Buddy Updates. It’s a pretty simple service actually which is similar to what others are already doing and offering. The only difference is the fact that Buddy Updates is part of the AIM, AOL’s instant messaging service, network. So, it makes use of your network of AIM buddies. 
“Great minds think alike.” That’s a pretty simple phrase composed of four meaningful words. The world is so full of people possesing great minds that could make a big difference if only the knowledge stocked in those great minds collaborate, share and becomes part of a great learning experience. If people from all walks of life can congregate on a virtual space throughs social networks and other web 2.0 site, why can’t people with great minds connect?
