I don’t know why we didn’t mentioned 8hands before because I must say it is must-have tool to anyone who is active member of different social networks. 8hands is a nice desktop application which allows you to receive latest updates and notifications from your online communities without visiting the site.

Nice extension dedicated to help users to post to Twitter directly from FireFox by hitting the small icon in address bar.
